Dec. 6th, 2009 11:55 pmI got to spend a lot of time today camped on the couch, watching tv on my computer, and knitting. It's a nice way to spend a Sunday. I'm quite close to done on holiday gift #2.
Daniel and I exchanged St. Nicholas stockings this morning. Candy and cheap toys = fun for all. Mini-pool=too many small parts that don't work anyway. Mini-bowling=pretty much awesome.
Tomorrow is the annual department (now building) holiday party. I haven't gone for the past two years. But I think I'll go tomorrow - for a little bit anyway. Free food. I can bring the cocoa cookies I made this weekend and feel like I contributed.
It's super dry around here. Also really cold. The landlord called to tell us to leave water dripping since it'll be in the single digits tonight. Brrr. Sadly, the furnace is making odd noises. Sometimes it seems to struggle to turn on. I don't care for its timing.
I always hated how cold my dad kept the house growing up, but I'm pretty sure we're keeping ours just as cold, if not colder. It's expensive being a grown up! It's in the 60s, at least.
