sore hands
Jun. 10th, 2006 08:03 pmToday I thought I would like to go on the swings. So Daniel and I walked over to the local elementary school and played at their playground.
They had no swings.
We played on the bars, and I turned over them. I tried to hold myself up for more than two seconds but I have, apparently, no upper arm strength.
But then.
Oh then.
Then we saw it.
Tetherball.
And we ran to it.
And we played it.
For 19 games.
My arms are rubber and my palms are sore.
We will be going back.
Oh yeah. And I won. I am so the superior tetherball player, despite Daniel's greater height and endurance. Daniel says I should point out that I was given a hit handicap - that is, I was allowed to hit the ball twice in a row and he only once.
