Short work week, short work day - leaving at around 1 pm because of banked time. Woo hoo!

To do list today:

Work:
- process environmental readings
- add processed photos to database
- back up database to computer and thumb drive
- clean desk

Home:
- Go to Department of Licensing and update my address info (a month late, oops)
- Stop at fabric store to buy buttons (optional)
- List the rest of stuff on Tias (smoking jacket at least)
- Finish sweater
- Clean up my nesting area near the couch

Thursday:
- Sleep in
- Drive to Yakima
- Old Country Buffet (lots of food, no dishes, excellent people watching)
- Shop-ko
- Put up Christmas tree?

What is a nesting area? Is that the spot where you usually wrap yourself in cozy things?

Also, can I say what an awesome idea it is to go to the Old Country Buffet for thanksgiving? An awesome idea. So much easier.

The nesting area is where I surround myself with things, mostly knitting related, in easy reach of my wrapped-in-blankets self.

This will be our third year heading to Old Country Buffet for Thanksgiving. I mean, the food isn't first rate, but it's traditional and just kind of fun. Also, it's an event, since the place is PACKED every year.
