Well, so much for that. My little eeePC is defective. It blue screened when I ran windows updates initially and blue screen again this afternoon when I tried transferring my files to it. It made a terrible clicking and whirring noise until I turned it off. Then it made that noise when I tried to start it up again... a couple of times. So back to Amazon it goes. No exchange, just a refund. It's a luxury item and this computer is still working... with quirks. Heavy sigh.

Also sending back a couple of things to Old Navy which looked cute on line, but horrendous in real life. Darn them and their return fees.

Do you have a ON store nearby that you could return it to? I hate the $7 shipping cost and likely go without rather than buying things that are available online only, but at least I can take it back to a local store rather than mailing back.

The 'local' Old Navy is 45 minutes away. And I shopped out of the women's plus, which can now only be returned by mail since they stopped selling it in stores (which is a whole 'nother racket).

So, no. :( At least I'm keeping 4 of 6 items and used a coupon initially to get some money off the original order, so it doesn't sting quite so bad.

ah, yeah there's 2 here in madison (which you maybe already knew) plus another in johnson creek. i don't get why they don't have more size ranges, or reduce the shipping cost for the things they don't sell in stores (men's tall sizes, women's plus sizes, maternity). yay coupons though! I once went with a 30% off one item coupon, and the guy took it off my entire purchase. heh heh heh. :P

I have an MSI Wind Netbook that I like very much. And it has a three year warranty through Costco (where I bought it, courtesy of Toby's work membership), so when I break it, it can be fixed cheaply.
