Got my new computer! But I ran the windows update first thing and, after restarting per requirements, went to double check the updates and got a blue screen of death! I've installed Google Chrome and started messing with the settings and haven't had a repeat it. So I'll probably do more messing about on it and see if I get another error before moving my data over to this computer.

So far it's going pretty well. I'm only having a little trouble with the arrow keys - sometimes I hit control instead of the arrow keys. And, can you tell me, why a computer without a cd drive comes with WinDVD?

mrcomfypants and missingdonut are playing Super Mario now. I've abandoned them in favor of playing with my new toy. I think we're going for ice cream in a bit.

Yeah, the one thing that gets me with that keyboard is the tiny right-shift key, which is the shift key that I use all the time.

I think the dvd can be used if you buy an external dvd drive, which seems silly because they cost half as much as the netbook itself...

Linux, on the other hand, you can install from a 1-gig usb flash drive... eeebuntu.org!!!
