May. 16th, 2009 11:07 pmI made popcorn tonight. I got the popper out of the (lower) cupboard, made the popcorn, then noticed that the cupboard door was somewhat ajar. I go to my computer and start (trying) to watch a movie, with headphones since Daniel is listening to music and working on something else. I hear a scratching noise coming from the kitchen. Busy often scratches at the floor or the top of the cupboard doors, so no big deal. Except it keeps up for longer than usual.
So, yeah, cat got stuck in the cupboard. Not overnight or anything. And she's had worse. She's spent several hours stuck in the clothes closet before. Let that be a lesson to her: no jumping in cupboards.
I'm amused. But like many cat owners, I am frequently more amused by the antics of my cat than is actually warranted.
