In the summer, I walk to work through this gravel parking lot near the park. But in the winter, that's where the plows put ALL THE SNOW IN TOWN. So walking though it isn't a reasonable option. Except, going home this afternoon, I decided that climbing over a bunch of enormous snow piles would be more fun than walking through the park.

And it was. And I was covered in snow. It was good.

Tomorrow is my last day of work for the week. I'm taking vacation on Friday and using up stored flex time on Wednesday. So that's pretty awesome. Yay Christmas!

Does Ellensburg salt the roads? Cause I just found out today that Seattle refuses to salt the roads because it's "Bad For The Environment".

I don't think they salt. The only place I've seen salt at the doorway to my building on campus. I've seen some sand here and there.
