Is it sad that I'm really excited for my eye doctor appointment tomorrow? These lenses are scratched up worse than any lenses I've ever had before. And I've been using the special cleaning cloth and not the hem of my t-shirt to clean them, too! I want new lenses, and new frames. I like my frames a lot, but I find most places don't replaces lenses in frames you bought elsewhere, without your giving up the glasses. Which I don't want to do.

And I am sooooo excited about getting separate sunglasses through these discount online places. I have not had sunglasses which didn't clip to my regular glasses since.... well, since I've worn glasses or about age 9.

And I may have solved the shoe angst issue. I just bought these blue platform wedgey dealys to try. Huzzah! (My major concern about the red was it being too overwhelming. We'll have to see.)

I've used my sunglasses from Zenni Optical for a week now, and I can say that they're great. GREAT. Prescription seems accurate, and while they're not the sturdiest frames ever, I'm not scared they're going to break or something with regular use. Go for it!

Those blue shoes are adorable. I love the red ones that you bought before, but my thought is that you might come off looking patriotic... which might not be the wedding statement you want to make. I'd definitely look for something blue. But that's just my opinion, so disregard if you'd like!

The patriotism issue has crossed my mind - especially getting hitched on Memorial Day weekend. Not that I don't love the country or whatever, but I'm not flag-toting conservative. :P

I do love the red shoes also. They're not being discarded, just set aside.

Oh, and I'm frame shopping now. Wheee!

Those are very cute. I'm looking for a medium-large frame (it's nice when they list it) and have 3 or 4 strong contenders already, although one is $23.95. :P
