Does anyone have any opinions on the Hotel Deca, the University Inn, or the Watertown Hotel (all in U-District)? Or has walked past and can report on apparent skeeziness levels? Thank you.
I've heard good things about Hotel Deca. Watertown LOOKS alright on the outside, don't know about inside. It's still in a relatively "good" part of that strip of Roosevelt. University Inn though...I know that's where the Burke puts up guests, but it makes *me* feel a little sketchy going by.
I'm a bit biased against the two on Roosevelt, simply because I used to live about two blocks away from there and that area really wasn't the greatest in the world.
my parents stayed at hotel deca for graduation and hated it. they had a bad experience in general, but also had issues with noise and ended up getting one of their nights there free because they complained. if you want more detail, i can ask my mom.
the watertown is almost certainly the best of the three. the henry has had artists stay there and at the deca, and the watertown has always been preferred.
the university inn scares me. at least, scares me more than it should for its price.
