froggy_dearI have lived in this apartment for nearly 6 months, yet it was only yesterday that I finally addressed the disaster area that is my desk. I unpacked the "desk crap" boxes on it, sorted the mail I throw on it (must remember to scan things to email to the lawyer), and generally showed it who's boss. I have also sorted the piles of paper into my pile, the estate pile, and sub-piles which require filing.
Of course, this is also happening at the point where I am casually looking for a house to rent. :P (not that it's likely to find a decent house in our price range within walking distance of the University, but still.)
And I worked up the gumption and called about Goobers the kitten on Friday. Left a message. No one has called back. I guess that means no Goobers for me. But now I've worked it out that I can, indeed, have a cat, so if another nice sounding cat comes up in the classifieds, I may pursue it.
