Finished my master's thesis. Received my Master's Degree. Got a real full time job (not just for the summer). Planned a funeral. Dealt with an estate.

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Probably not. I don't think I called them resolutions, but I had planned to buy less yarn, eat better, and exercise more. Things which did not happen.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not really close to me, but one the high school friends I keep in touch with had a baby.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My mom.

Heh. San Francisco?

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A permanent job.

July 19th. The car accident that killed my mother.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Hard one. I could say my MA, but really, that was pretty easy. I think that keeping it together for most of the second half of the year would be it.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Being mean to people. Ranging from gossiping to being caustic to people.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing notable.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Nothing stands out as being super awesome.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I don't know.

Probably rent. Although I spent a lot on plane tickets this year.

My new job.

Again, I don't know. I haven't associated this year with a song.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Reading, appreciating people.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being mean. Wallowing. Dicking around.

20. How did you spend Christmas?
Christmas Day was spent at my house in Falls with Daniel, my aunt and uncle, brother, and father. Also visiting were good friends of the family and Daniel's parents. Most of the rest of the week was various states of Christmas at the Werner's house with various pieces of the extended family.

Did sadly little reading. Can't even remember most of what I did read, but I really enjoyed Ender's Game.
