You know what grinds my gears?

Finding an empty beer can next to our back stoop. In our semiprivate backyard area. This suggests to me that people are hanging out, late at night, in our folding chairs, outside our back doors. Notice the possessives? Yeah, cause these are our things, and that it their nasty cheap beer garbage.

I noticed a cigarette butt yesterday, but had assumed it was from the previous tenant and had simply escaped my notice, being in a bit of a corner. Now I must reconsider.

And the night before last we totally heard someone peeing. Possibly along our fence. Sound carries, so it's hard to tell.

Or... what about a motion sensor light? I don't know how much of a pain they are to set up. Bring in the chairs, keep an eye out, call the cops. Because that's really unsafe to have random people in your backyard.

ah - someone beat me to it - motion sensor lights. I need to install one on my garage wall. Think there's someone sleeping on the lawn between my driveway and my neighbor's house. Can't believe she didn't hear 'em as it's right under her bedroom window. Found a used condom out there this week. That's it. Getting some lights!
