froggy_dearNow that I don't have a thesis, I can devote myself to full time nerdery. Like watching Doctor Who. Just finished the last episode of the new Series three. The last three episodes pulled me in so hard, it was ridiculous. Episode 11 was fabulous, 12 was... just fine, and 13 was really good too. Although it pulled certain points together in ways I didn't expect at all.
I'm such a nerd and I love it.

I had a really good day. I actually got off my butt and did some stuff. Like threw away about a tree and a half worth of paper that had taken over my desk. I took the office supplies from my desk drawer and gave them to the kitchen office supply door. My desk... is emptied of purpose. I don't really need a desk. I have this laptop which I use all the time on the couch, on my lap. It sits on my knitting basket when it's not in use.
I listed a Belkin iPod voice recorder (which I got for Christmas and didn't end up needing) on Amazon. If you're in the market for one, let me know. It's not terribly good quality recording, but it'll do in a pinch, I imagine.
I made a huge bowl of pesto drenched spaghetti with sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes and a little bit of chicken. It's good cold. It's lunch for next week. And it's going to be delicious.
I listened to This American Life and spun.
Things are pretty good.
