froggy_dearI got myself out of bed this morning and over to Chocolati for some thesis work. Once there I had a nice little break down/freak out and then started to get down to business. It's really hard to find a scholarly definition of "blogosphere." Actually, I just gave up and used MSN Encarta's.
I worked until about 2:30 when my brain quit on me. I came home, and then Daniel and I went to Gasworks Park. We parked in the lot near the graduate dorms and walked the Burke Gilman trail to it. I don't know how far it was. Far enough. It was a nice day for a walk, and we'd never been to Gasworks before, so that was cool.
I'm still not totally sure how I'm going to pull this thesis thing off. I worked on my bibliography a little just now. I really need a plan for tomorrow, but I don't know where I ought to start. That's a lie. I need to do a content analysis of the blogs I analyze. WTF is content analysis? I've obviously never done it in this context. I'm just going to be - "this page is shiny and easy to use. They have an RSS button in Firefox, but not in Explorer. There are lots of nice entries by different authors (I guess I should count them up for the three month period I used for my stats). They mostly talk about this. Or this." I dunno. Maybe that'll be sufficient. Fitting it in is going to entail some restructuring of those sections, though, and that's a bit of a pain. Woe is me.
I have this book on the Fossil Wars. I started reading it. Now it taunts me with it's silly journalistic writing. Oh, how I want to read a book for fun. But not in the next few weeks. Cripes.
