froggy_dearI'm sitting in the computer room at MW2007 instead of shmoozing in the exhibitor's reception. But the reception is hella crowded and there's nothing there that I'm interested in either 1) purchasing for my non-existent museum or 2)trying to get myself hired for. Plus I lost energy in the last couple of sessions I went to today which I did not find at all personally useful because I do not have a museum. And I'm tired. And apparently crabby. And I hate shmoozing. Because I am bad at it.
I don't really care to head back to the exhibitor's reception. But I've got nothing else to do until the grad student deal later tonight.
But the opening plenary speech by Brewster Kahle (of the Internet Archive) and the Web 2.0 session were really good. I just lost inertia and interest in the afternoon. Although Bryan Kennedy of Science Buzz recognized me from my blog, which was kinda cool. I have high hopes for tomorrow and the Radical Trust session and blogger meet up.
God. So tired. Want nap so bad.
