Apr. 11th, 2007 11:18 pmSo tired.
Good workshop this morning, check out the thesis blog if you care.
1:30 to 8 pm I was on my feet. And now they ache. Thank the gods I have comfortable shoes. I had to be mean and refuse to admit people to the reception if they had no ticket and this one guy was a real bastard, but he had nothing to prove to me that he should be there. He got angry at me and the rules I was enforcing and stormed off. I was really really shaken up. I try not to play the bad guy, but I was given a set of rules to enforce for important reasons and I did it. But I really had to fight back tears every time there was a lull in entrants. If it was busy I could smile and say ticket please. But let alone I got all shakey and tired. There was no one to back me up on it or let him in. No one who could okay him. It sucked. And he sucked, too. I, apparently, have relatively thin skin. Although I didn't get weepy until he left and the problem was gone.
But SF MOMA is good and would totally be worth the $12.50 to $15.00 you'd need to pay to get it.
Tomorrow I have my research thing. And I should so be asleep right now as I'll need to be getting up at 7 and am dead tired. Ugh.
