Mar. 15th, 2007 08:29 amAs I was walking into work today I saw a hummingbird squaking at a tiny fluffy bird. I mean, the fluffy bird (chickadee? finch? I don't know birds) was maybe the size of a clemantine orange, maybe. And it was just sitting still as could be on this little low laying branch. The hummingbird would alight on the same branch, squak at the bigger bird (because hummingbirds are very small, even smaller than clemantine oranges), fly around a bit and squak some more. The fluffy bird didn't move, even a little. I don't know what the hummingbird was after. Or even what the heck it's doing when it's still so chill out.
And then, a few steps further down the walk, a blister on the underside of my foot burst. While I was walking. It hurt. I'm hobbling now.

12:15. I am pretty hungry. But I'm not sure what to do about lunch. I want something I can grab, bring back, and eat with chopsticks or a fork. Notice that "Don't buy lunch" is not on today's list.
