Someone recently on staff at the museum died this weekend. So there's a lot of grief around here. And while I knew and liked this person, I didn't know her very well, so I'm not dealing with it in the same way. My usual default hallway expression is a pleasant smile. Grinning as I pass folks is not appropriate right now. And I can't spout platitudes because I didn't know her very well.

Life goes on.

Shit. Sarah and... Jessica? were discussing her on Friday--dreams they'd have that she'd be well again.

Yeah. She was so young and strong, so it's kind of hard to imagine. There are plans to have lunch in the classroom if you missed the email (although, like I said, I didn't know her well, so I won't be going).

I didn't know her at all. I ran into Benny Sat. night and he told me what happened, but I just had/have nothing to say about it. It definately makes things a bit akward...
