froggy_dear9:30 pm: Seized by urge to make Heath Bar cookies. Promptly google "Heath Bar cookies." Find acceptable recipe.
9:37 pm: Realize recipe calls for baking soda. We have no baking soda. How could we possibly not have baking soda?
9:45 pm: Trip to the grocery store! Am triumphant! Emerge with baking soda and butter substitute sticks. Shoe now broken.
9:55 pm: Preheat oven, mix ingredients.
10:10 pm: Alarm the neighbors by making pounding noises. Am crushing Heath Bars with the power of my MIGHTY HAMMER!
10:15 pm: Bake first batch of cookies.
10:30 pm: Bake second batch of cookies.
10:42 pm: Realize that somewhere along the way I turned the oven off for the second batch of cookies. Turn oven back on.
10:55 pm: Take cookie like things out of oven.
I MAKE HEATH BAR COOKIES! MIGHTY HAMMER! It's my favorite baking implement.
PS. I miss Iron Chef.
