Dec. 2nd, 2006 08:27 amSo. The end of November came and went, and no acceptance for my conference proposal. Oh well. It was a rushed idea, a rushed abstract.
Not sure if I should go to the conference. I mean, yes, I should go, but I'm not sure I have the cash. Even if I get some travel money from the program and worked as a volunteer for the conference (10 hours labor=free registration), I'd still need to pay for lodging in San Francisco. And that can't be cheap. And I've never stayed in a hostel, so.... not so sure, not so sure.
There's the AAMs in May, but by May it's too late to get anything good out of it for my thesis, although ideal to start testing the waters of the job market.
