I have a fondness for Last Comic Standing.

Unfortunately it sucks. A lot. The final two both suck. The third one out had the funny. But he got kicked off. The guy who I expect will win has cerebral palsy. And he's not funny. Not much anyway. I mention the cerebral palsy because I feel a little bad when I say "Wow. What a great audience." Because HE IS THAT CHARACTER.

I think that, if the casting decisions were made by talent scouts and not producers, it could be a very funny show. Seriously. They seemed to purposefully pick the non-funny but diverse and edgy and loud people.

I totally agree with ya. I really enjoyed the last two seasons of the show and had been watching this season but as of a few weeks ago when they went into the stand-up section I've just lost interest. The only person who I thought was even slightly funny was they guy I just noticed got kicked off today. I sort of though hmm perhaps I should have watched last week and voted but then realized I really didn't care. It's sad because the past seasons had been so good and this year I'm just not interested, perhaps it was because I had people to watch it with the past two times and that somehow makes it more enjoyable, who knows.

I didn't see a lot of it except the casting episode and a few other shows. Who got kicked off and who's the other one aside from Josh Blue or whatever his name is? I thought Josh was funny in his opening routine, but then again I can't say I laughed incredibly hard at a lot of those people.
