The moon last night was bright and huge and round. It was amazing.

I'm hanging out in the Student Center becuase I finished up my work and I have to meet this person (first name Moran (how does one pronounce that?)) to see about getting an add code for my elective course next quarter. History of the Late Middle Ages. I would so be a medievalist if it weren't for needing reading knowledge of latin. And most romance languages. And old english. And high german. And whatever else.

But I love that stuff. That medieval stuff. Eat it up. And the prof sounds like he has a sense of humor and a passion, so I'm optimistic that it won't be all sucky-like.

I am going to a lecture about the evolution of whales tonight. boo-yah. it will be evaluated as an educational program for my education class.

I need to go pick some objects in the gallery. Yeah.

I am at home groaning and crying over formatting the budget. I have to use words. I've gotten so used to spreadsheets that I have forgotten how to verbalize.

What course level is that class? I would LOVE to take that, but since I haven't taken any electives yet, I feel the need to take something a bit more practical: Hist. of Wash. and the Pac. NW. But late middle ages sounds so much more fun...

It's HSTAM 333. The prof has been really good about keeping in touch with me, and might be willing to add a 600 level thing if you want it to count for grad credit. No add code though :( The woman I spoke to made it sound as if I don't have to worry - even if the class looks full, they can wrangle it. I hope she's right.

I don't know how practical Hist of WA would be for me. I'm not sure I intend to stay in the area... so I take what makes me happy. (Or so I hope.)

moran is a hebrew name. it's a great name in hebrew, but translates horribly. say it something like mor-AHN. (in case that still needs claridfication, it's almost like UN, but with slightly more of an "a" sound). i wish i remebered phonetics from my linguistics classes, but i think that will get you the idea.
