Trippy!

At three today we leave and head to the airport. Flight's not till 6:30, but we pretty much have no idea how long it takes to get there, how the traffic will be, and how quickly we'll find a parking lot.

The weekend will be spent in Minneapolis where we will be involved in the wedding of mrcomfypants' brother. Or he will be. I'll be feeling awkward and trying to figure out how to respond to all the relatives asking us when/if it'll be our turn next. But we get put up in a hotel and provided for, so that's all good. Plus I get to dress up all shiny.

The only problem is that I have papers due on Monday and Tuesday. Joy.

And Thanksgiving is a week from today. Holy cow. I think there will be food - holiday appropriate food. Because I love tatoes and stuffing with a passion. Yum.

Oh! we're back in the apartment. They're not done exactly, but good enough for us to be here today. They'll finish up tomorrow and Saturday. I hope they clean up the tub a bit. Because there's plaster filth in there. Eww. Way gross.

On the thing about people asking about marriage...

On one hand, I understand why they ask. They want to make some sort of conversation in an attempt to be polite. But on the other hand, if they have to ask, then there really is a reason that they're not privy to this information. Either you haven't set a date nor have an idea thereof, they're not going to be invited, or both.

To be fair, I am the sort of person that might just not bother to tell people because I don't care if they know or not. Some of my aunts and uncles didn't even know we lived in Seattle. But in general, yeah.
