Why is quicktime so crappy on my computer? Or specifically in my Mozilla? Because it works in IE, just not Mozilla.

That's not accurate. Sometimes it works, but other times it just won't load, which is a problem.

Maybe it's that Quicktime is beating Flash over the head or something?

For example, goingdriftless posted a link to a e-card that just showed the big friendly Q for a while then went white.

Can anyone help me? I swear I'm usually pretty capable, but this has got me all frustrated.

Protip: QuickTime sucks any way you slice it. I can only use it in IE, not my beloved Opera.

It's not just your computer, I've had trouble getting Quicktime stuff to run in Firefox lately too. I downloaded a couple of updates for Firefox right before the Quicktime bugs started, so I wonder if that did it?
