I don't know what it is, but I love reality cooking shows. I mean, I have a love for Iron Chef. I watched Hell's Kitchen pretty regularly, and now I try to catch Cooking Under Fire on PBS every Sunday morning. Unfortunately, they're not airing the episodes in the proper order. Sigh.

I wish we got the Food Network.

At restaurants I'll sometimes try new things. Like on Friday we splurged and went out to eat at a restaurant. I got cioppno, which I've never had before. I didn't realize that it came with the shells and all. And, while I love seafood, I don't know how to handle it. So I was just making it up as I went along. It was pretty good. Except that I don't think I care for mussels. Clams, okay, but there was a taste to the mussels that I didn't care for. I also made a pretty huge mess mutilating the crab portion of the meal. But the crab was really tasty.

I finished the leftovers today. It re-heated okay.

yeah, I don't like mussels either. They taste kinda metallic, I think. But woot for crab!
