Ya know what bugs me?
Sep. 30th, 2005 10:51 amWhen people say "do to" when they mean to say "due to." It's not a homonym pair you learn about as much in second grade, but I've seen this misuse a couple of times in the last couple days. Generally I'm pretty forgiving on non-gratuitous errors - the kind that people just make as opposed to people who type in some sort of netspeak/slang/attempting to replicate an accent by grossly misspelling many many words.
But do vs due gets me. It really does. I'm not going to go off on the offenders, but I am going off on it a bit here.
So just remember: Froggy doesn't like when people mix up do and due. And if they start throwing dew around in there I may have to kick some ass. But probably not. I lack the upper body strength.
