When people say "do to" when they mean to say "due to." It's not a homonym pair you learn about as much in second grade, but I've seen this misuse a couple of times in the last couple days. Generally I'm pretty forgiving on non-gratuitous errors - the kind that people just make as opposed to people who type in some sort of netspeak/slang/attempting to replicate an accent by grossly misspelling many many words.

But do vs due gets me. It really does. I'm not going to go off on the offenders, but I am going off on it a bit here.

So just remember: Froggy doesn't like when people mix up do and due. And if they start throwing dew around in there I may have to kick some ass. But probably not. I lack the upper body strength.

So if I accidentally said, "I dew not like to drink Mountain Due do to my dislike of caffeine" you'd strangle me with circs, right? :P

No, but I might cry a little.

You know, ass-kicking requires very little upper body strength or ability. All it requires is the ability to aim one's foot towards an mid-sized area. I think you'll manage that ass-kicking fine.

Yeah, I'm kind of a grammar nazi myself.

I don't see that one too often, luckily. But I go nuts over "would of," "could of," "should of"...
