Sep. 12th, 2005 02:13 amSo I went to Penny's and got a free shirt. There was a woman and her teenaged daughter at the display, going through the tee-shirts and I saw that they had the same coupon as me. Anyway, the shirts mostly aren't that great. It tends to the sort of vaugely suggestive, just sort of confounding shirt. But I got a shirt that's dark blue and says "I (heart) Martians" across the front (that's a heart symbol, not the words, but I don't know how to do those). It's confounding, yes, but not in an unpleasant way.
So of course because I get a free shirt I can go spend money! Ha!
Got Yahtzee score cards (since we have enough dice thank you), a nifty edition of Clue and toilet bowl cleaner. I also got one of those dollar necklaces from target. It's pretty nice. It doesn't feel flimsy, and I like that.
We played our new games and played some old games and ate food and I knitted and now it's 2:30 am and I'm on livejournal. I just spent some time updating and overhauling the layout of my knitting journal. I really like the new layout. Not everything about it, but I think it feels very homey to me. Yeah.
I called my bank aka my credit card company and they won't/can't help me avoid interest on my account in the five to six days between payment due and financial aid coming my way. So I guess I can suck up the fifteen bucks or so, but eh. Now I know better than to assume things will work out for me when it comes to major financial institutions.
I think I'm getting sleepy. I'd better try sleeping, then.
