I'm extra lazy today...

Listened to a couple of comedy albums (Eddie Izzard is terribly delightful, thank you [livejournal.com profile] ohsochewy (and may I mention how your username delights me), and Bob Newhart's Button Down Mind is a little disappointing (at least only in audio), though one must remember that it was recorded some decades ago now).

Knitted some (Trying to figure out what to do with this super duper bulky and soft wool that I have a bit off - the current plan is to make a square or rectangle until I run out of yarn and decide then whether it should be a pillow or should be felted into a purse thin).

Started in on Harry Potter 4 (as I discovered that I remember nothing from it at all).

And that's it. Well, I did check the mail twice, but it hadn't come yet. I do believe that it's arriving as I type, judging by the banging and key rattling in the mail area. Or maybe not. I just want to get mail. And I'm glad that there are audio clues for when the mail arrives.

I'm so attatched to all forms of mail. I check email loads (or would if I didn't have notifiers that tell me when I have something in my inbox), and I check the regular mail, er, regularly.

The shirt that I am wearing today is made of bamboo. Isn't that cool!? It is, in case you were wondering the answer.

Yeah. This is dull, this entry here. Good on you for reading this far.

He's totally awesome. I actually got a download-only album of his (Live at the Ambassador) and haven't listened yet. I'll be sure to send it your way after I do, though!

Old Bill Cosby is funny too.

We are totally going to see The Aristocrats when it gets out here. Not really in the same league, though.

We listened to Dressed to Kill and The Circle so far. I have a couple others that I've procured.

We actually just got Why is There Air? in the past couple of weeks (on vinyl).

And ooh! (Forgot until I reread your post.) Jim will be so excited to hear about the bamboo shirt. He found out about them a while ago and immediately got one. It seems to stretch in the wash a bit, unfortunately (it's kind of a wussy t-shirt) but maybe we can block it or something.

I actually found it at Goodwill! It's like 85% Bamboo, 15% nylon... which confuses me as it's one of those sweater vest/button down shirt collar and sleeve affairs... I understand the sweater part as bamboo, but the regular clothlike part? Wow.

I kinda wanna try some of that bamboo yarn now, you know? I wonder if it puts you at a risk of panda bear attacks......

HA!

Jim assures me that, thank heavens, it is not the kind that pandas eat. "There are different kinds, you know."

He was quite open-mouthed at the Goodwill-ness.

There were actually two of them there, but I was feeling all short on cash and - as they were very similar - only purchased one. It's a sickness when a 3.99 shirt feels too expensive - but I have different standards at different stores.

Oh, for cry-yi. You're making me double-post AGAIN.

Is that userpic of DINOSAURS HUMPING???

Yes. Iguanadons. And it was grossly inappropriate to the comment material... the panda bit made me choose it.

I think I have a picture of camels humping (with the aid of some poor child) somewhere - I got it from one of the lessons on powerpoint that accompanied my Anthro 320 class (or 322, I forget).

I actually like Bob Newhart's Button Down Mind. Especially The Driving Instructor.

I liked it too, but, to me, it was more amusing than choke-on-my-food funny. :)
