froggy_dearWireless internet is awesome. I'm now in St. Cloud, MN - stop one on our little cross country jaunt.
We left the apartment yesterday. It looked a lot smaller empty now than it did when we first moved in. After we left the apartment we went to Social Sciences to drop off my poster from May, then had to go and turn around by our old dorms. It was a satisfactorily symbolic revisiting of my old haunts - especially as it was unintentional. Yeah. Awesome.
We packed the car last night and the rental van this morning. The rental van is one of those small ones - not the "grand" or long wheel base or whatever it is. But we fit nearly everything we had to. We had to leave behind the folding table, the laz-e-boy, and the piano bench. I really wanted the piano bench to come along. But it's pretty much amazing that we were able to fit in as much as we could.
Driving is nice. Walkie-talkies are fun between cars. Car snacks are good to have. And Assassination Vacation on audiobook helps the time fly by. It's neat.
This hotel has a pool and a water slide. I may have to go play.
