Acronyms gone WILD

UW west has one of these.... GBLTTQI Campus Resource Center.... It's got more letters than I know what to do with.

I think I'll call Seattle UW west and Madison UW central. Becuase just saying UW confusing me all over the place. Of course this probably won't last.

My undergrad is Western Washington University, which is WWU. Except trying to say WWU aloud sounds stupid, so after the first year or so you just start calling it Western rather than stumbling through "double-you double-you you".

Also, University of Washington UW is said "you-dub."

The kind of thing you don't pick up over text.

At BGSU we have a GLBTTQIQSS group!
But they are smart enough to just call it Vision and leave the long acronym for the tagline.
