I am making my first foray into the world of kool-aid dying. We'll see how it goes. I have my fingers crossed.

On Sunday from 6-8 pm there will be Knitting Club on the Memorial Union Terrace. Those of you in the club (simpledarkangel, _becquerel_, cabell) already know about this, but I know there are a few of you on my flist who knit, crochet, wreak havoc with fiber and you are welcome and encouraged to join us. It's a good time. DO IT.

oo oo you're in the madcitysocial group right? I'd offer to teach you but um...just learning myself so I couldn't show you more than the basics (and by that I mean cast on in one method, knit stitch, and cast off...because I've had problems attempting just about everything else).

Depending on how tired I am after Radfest, I might be able to come. Do you know where there's parking near there? :\

there's parking under helen c. white which is the building west of the memorial union. its down park st, keep going til it seems like you're going to drive straight into the lake. normally it's a all 2 hr meters, but on sundays its FREE! otherwise there is a small meter lot by the union, and a little bit of street parking. otherwise next closest is the state st/lake st ramp.

thanks! still unsure if I'll be able to make it, but since I'm currently working on something and don't have plans for tomorrow night other than sleeping, it's possible I'll come! whereabouts in the union will y'all (yes I said y'all) be meeting?

...and to show how non-downtowny of a person I am, I almost asked if you'd be meeting indoors or outdoors (of course, I was thinking about the Monona Terrace with all the outdoor tables). harrumph.

I believe that we expect to be on the Memorial Union Terrace. Outdoors, weather permitting. You can tell us by the knitting and also two of the group have unnaturally colored hair (though mine is really quite faded).
