I got a Compaq Presario V2000, which I customized a bit. I just got the fastest processor that I could without spending a load, and then got what seemed reasonable to me - ie, no dvd burner. I also got the most impressive sounding wireless package. Not really useful advice, but eh. It's a 14 inch widescreen and I'm excited.

congrats! hopefully if I get all my financial aid that I'm expecting and don't go too much in the hole moving in August, I'll be able to buy one in the next few months too. yaaaaay new stuffs!

The laptop is my official graduation present from my parents... I'm not usually spoiled, but they do nice things when I graduate from this or that.

totally fair...my mom got me a pink sapphire ring and my stepdad got me a digital camera that came with a photo printer for my college graduation. ooo boy more prezzies in another year! I kid I kid, I'm not that greedy that I'm counting down the days yet. ;)
