May. 13th, 2005 09:44 am1. Total number of films I own on DVD/video: 98, including concert dvds and tv shows, excluding the yoga tape.
2. The last film I bought: Batman the Animated Series, Volume One, purchased for Daniel (although now paid back, so maybe doesn't count?). Last film - Elixirs and Remedies (on dvd). Last movie - The Little Mermaid (on vhs).
3. The last film I watched: Mean Girls (rented).
4. Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me: Okay, my list is a little cliche
-American Beauty (first film I loved enough to see twice in the theatres)
-Rocky Horror Picture Show (I'm just a sweet transvestite. Erm.)
-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (So pretty. Jim Carey is cool when he's not playing the ass)
-The Royal Tenenbaums (Also pretty. Wes Andersen is really neat. PT Andersen is cool too, though he didn't make the list)
-Fight Club (giggle.)

Date: 2005-05-15 06:54 pm (UTC)By chance I saw your post in the UW community (I only look at LJ once every few weeks or so), and I would have responded there, but anon posts were blocked and I don't have an LJ account.
Anyway, I'm a current museology student at the UW and can probably help you out with your questions about moving, and can spill the beans about the dept, profs, Burke, and so on. Feel free to email me at red223@u.washington.edu. I'm helping out with orientation for you guys next year, and it would certainly help me to find out what kind of questions an incoming first year might have.
Congrats on graduating and welcome to Museology!
