Here are how many types of geek we are. We since [livejournal.com profile] mrcomfypants and I are indistinguishable entities.

1. Rented a dvd of the first season of Star Trek.
2. Rented a dvd of Lost in La Mancha, a documentary about filmmaker and former Python Terry Gilliam.
3. We own most of his previous films (not all the Python films and not the Fischer King).
3. Went to see Sin City.
4. Realized that one character in Sin City looks like a Deep Space Nine Character.
5. Identified said Deep Space Nine character by name and species.
6. Coined the phrase "Filthy stinking hobbitses eat your soul!" (Trust us. It makes sense.)
7. I am recording it in a blog.

We are happy.

(although the above mentioned Pants isn't writing this entry, I take the liberty here of including him)

Sin City = Very good. Of course this is assuming one likes that sort of movie. Good movies, I mean.

My mom would hate it. She doesn't like blood.

"Rented a dvd of the first season of Star Trek."

You know, I have been wanting to see that...

It's just one dvd of the season. Have to rent the disks one by one. And the episodes aren't in order! Which is totally assinine.

Of course, the above makes me sound enthusiastic about it. I'm actually very resistant to Star Trek.

I used to be into it years ago, those old episodes are just so classic...

I have the first TOS boxed set on my Amazon wishlist. Mr. Spock was one of my first crushes. :p

Why not Fisher King? Do you not like it? It's my hubby's fave film.
