froggy_dear: (doozer knit)

As you may know, I knit. And I have found myself with some yarn that I am at a loss as to what to do with it. So I am proposing something here. I will make you a scarf (in one of two shades of blue, a shade of almost black, or metallic brown, at a width of your choice and maximum length (no minimum lengths allowed as it's dictated by how much yarn I have)) and you will trade me something (to be agreed upon in advance). So. Anyone want a muppet scarf. The first three options are super soft and fuzzy. The fourth is fuzzy in a different and less huggable way.

Eh, it's worth a try. :)

i can trade you mixed CD's based on your Interests for a scarf (i don't know how many CD's equal a scarf...it takes me about 1 1/2 hrs. to make one, or 2 hrs for one with cover/case, if that helps)

Sure. :) What kind of scarf do you want (Night Sky, Denim Storm, River Blue, or Mr. Brown? And about how wide do you like your scarves?

Using big needles, it would probably take about four hours.

Though if you don't like those you're totally not obligated.

definitely night sky. i'm not really that partial on width, but i usually like them on the wider side (maybe...6 in., if that is reasonable. if not i'm up for anything)

so in 4 hours i can make you two mixes with cases/covers or three just put in plastic envelopes?

Plastic envelopes would be just fine. Thanks!

okay, I keep thinking of questions: Would you like fringe? And, if the yarn holds out, do you like a longer scarf or a shorter scarf? I think that's all the questions I've got. :)

I have a blue scarf halfway done out of it, but it is such a mindless project, it's been lingering forever... super soft, though... I may finish it and give it to my mom, she liks blue. But yeah, scarves or hats. I can't imagine a whole sweater out of it.
