WARNING: The following entry is written about yarn.
So I'd been doing this thing where I don't buy much yarn, and, instead, actually sell some through Ravelry. But that kind of got shot to hell recently. I bought myself a little bit of lovely yarn for my birthday (Alpaca-silk laceweight, and a ball of Kauni in autumn colors). Then I swapped two balls of yarn from my stash for four balls from someone else's. And today. Well, today I went to my local yarn store.
It is their "fall sale" where all yarn is 15% off, with some at 50% and 75%. And, also, some at $.99 and $1.49. Like Rowan Pure Wool DK - .99. That means I bought a bag of Rowan for under $10. Which is freaking insane. It's a lovely emerald color - I'll need to work out what to do with it. I got three balls of SWTC Pure soysilk for .99 each (enough for a nice scarf; I love scarves), and a couple balls of Wildfoote for $1.49. And I also got the 4 hanks of Cascade 220 I came in for. I was fast. It could have been very dangerous. I even put back a couple balls of sock yarn, for .99 each. I was flabbergasted by the sale. Flabber. Gasted.
I need to photograph these additions to my stash tomorrow and update Ravelry. I've finished a project and made some progress on another. Yarn yarn yarn. Knit knit knit.
