Jan. 13th, 2008 12:51 pmAs you may recall, I was not present for the move to this apartment in August or the IKEA spree which accompanied it. For a few months now, I've been saying that our sofa ought to have legs. The slipcover ought not be dragging on the floor like that, and why is it so low. So I looked at the IKEA listing, and it says there should be legs. (It should be noted that the display models at IKEA do not seem to have legs either.) I'm ready to email customer service and ask how we can get some legs for our sofa.
Daniel says, well, let's check and make sure they're not hidden somewhere first.
So we take off the cushions. Under the slipcover I find this:

Yeah. The legs were in a bag tucked underneath the sofa. They are now attached and we are sitting 4 inches higher than before. It's awesome.
I would also like to point out that three people were here when the sofa was unloaded and the slipcover put on (over the face up piece of paper shown above).
