Jul. 18th, 2007 08:55 pmWe've got appointments with two potential places to live. One is in town, easy walking distance to my job, and not (I don't think) in the hotbed of undergraduate housing. It's a 2 bed, 1.5 bath, and is described as sunny. I suspect its in a newish part of town without a lot of interesting stuff. But this is a small town, so that's not a real issue.
The other is in the country, nearly six miles from where I'll be working, but it's cheaper. It's a 1 bed guest house, has a deck and yard, a washer and dryer, and all utilities are included. If it's not too tiny small, I think I'm leaning for this place, despite its remoteness.
We can also drop in on a place that offers quarterly leases and is in the hotbed of undergraduate housing. Oh man do I not want to live there. But it's cheap and convenient and I would like to arrange housing tomorrow, no matter what. Plus, we could move at the end of the lease.
This is all terribly exciting.
