Apr. 8th, 2007 11:07 pmI must be blogging in my head all the time, because I don't realize that I haven't posted in three days.
But I haven't. And it was a pretty eventful three days.
Friday, since the forecast was amazing (upper 70s and sunny), we drove back to Wallace Falls and hiked some. I got like .2, .3 miles further than last time. I stopped before this section of switchbacks. Me + Uphill != Love. Besides, my boots were rubbing at my heels and we'd gone two miles before turning back. The middle Falls of Wallace Falls is nice, but Comet Falls at Rainier is so much better. Not in the least because you can get right next to Comet Falls... if you're a bit of a fool. Although it'll be a long time before Rainier recovers. Sigh.
Saturday was thesis day with Larissa. She came over and we hung out. I wrote my cost/benefits section and my glossary. I felt ridiculously productive. It was insane. Then I got teriyaki and we played SNES. Rock on with the old school!
Today, being Easter, I subsisted primarily on chocolate. But there was also much packing. Because, hello!, this time tomorrow I will be in San Francisco. Madness. MW2007 has been so far away for so long that it's weird that it's actually happening. I'll get over it.
And that's the summary. Alway the most exciting posts. Yeah. *cough*
I don't think I'm bringing my backpack to SF. I'm a little freaked out by leaving it behind, but with the semi-professional plastic fake leather briefcase purse thing I got at K-mart for $5 which is exactly what I was looking for, I don't think I need to bring my bulky but beloved backpack. So sad. Besides, I'm overpacked already.
