I never could spell rhythm - too many consonants. Like egypt, but worse

This holiday season could be known as the season that tried to give froggy rhythm. Because that seems to be the theme here, folks.

Guitar Hero from Daniel yesterday. Lots of fun. And painfully demonstrates my lack of rhythm and manual dexterity. But I get to "play" Ziggy Stardust.

Today we went shopping and I used some of my Christmas money to purchase the Dance Dance Revolution Supernova bundle from Best Buy. While also lots of fun, it painfully highlights my lack of rhythm and agility, not to mention grace.

Thing is, I'd been really skeptical about both of the above games before a few days ago. Not sure exactly why, but Guitar Hero struck me as silly if it didn't help you relate to a real guitar (with apologies to my brother), and DDR just seemed like something that would make you look silly. But both are exciting new uses for our dusty old PS2.

Dude, we got so many new toys this holiday. See preceding post for most of them.
