So there was some wind around here last night. Apparently the Windstorm of 2007.

We lost power overnight. It went out in the wee hours last night - definitely by 3:30 am. Used the cell phone alarm to wake up. And the LCD screen to find the candles and matches.

And the power came back on at just before 7 am. Hooray!

But I am flippin' cold right now. Brrr....

Anyway. wind. Big deal. Apparently there are 1.1 or 1.4 million without power. That is very sucky. We are probably pretty lucky to have our power now.

WEEKEND!

I left work early today so I was able to go home in daylight. That was pretty nifty.

And we have roadtrip this weekend! We're going to CA. We won't be there long, but we're going! We're going to go say hi to the Redwood Forest. So that should be pretty neat-o. Hopefully all will be well. :D
