I made pancakes last night. First time. Tasty thin swedish pancakes from scratch. And it's so easy! Why haven't I done this before? There is no excuse.

Still somewhat under the weather.

I crashed last night. About 10:30 I crawled into bed and became dead to the world. Pretty much as soon as my head hit the pillow. The Gumby DVD hadn't even finished yet. By the way, I totally do NOT understand Gumby. Normally I love Claymation and kitsch and fantasy worlds, but I couldn't STAND Gumby. Note my use of words in all capital (capitol? I should know the difference by now) letters to indicate the extent of my seriousness.

And so on and so forth.

As much complained about herein, I've been feeling kinda sick lately. So I decided that a good long nap was more valuable than attending my practicum today. So I came home early. I crawled into bed between 3:00 and 3:30 and woke up 4 hours later. That's a long nap. And I don't think going to bed in a few hours is going to be a problem. I hate that it's more of a lingering malaise than anything really substantial.

So I'm really excited about the more substantial developments I've had in ideas for my thesis. My idea is one of those hot button topics and I cringe every time I see it mentioned in blogs and articles because I feel it makes me less of a special and unique butterfly. But I have this amazing opportunity to push past what is being done and really move into the theory of it. And this is what I need to do. Hooray.
