Phone and internet service
Aug. 6th, 2005 09:41 pmI ordered phone service for the (new) apartment. It should be going when we get there. Awesome! Not like being on the pay phone forever trying to set up service here and talking the person on the other end down from the "everything I'd never need" package to "just a phone line thanks, I only need it to buzz." That was a pain. This morning I just clicked the "phone line only" radio button AND IT WAS AWESOME. I like when people make the things I want easy to get at.
Now I'm looking at internets. Should we get cable or DSL? I've had DSL for a couple years now and no complaints. What do you cabley people think?
The thing about DSL is that it looks unlikely that it would be through my phone service and would be with a different company. Would that cause problems? Tell me your experiences!
Hmmm,.... We had better sign that lease since the phone'll be running before we get there.

A week from now I'll be in Minnesota. And, yes, I expect I'll keep saying things like that all week.
