Yesterday was an unnecessarily long day of shopping, because we went to pretty much every possible store. We went to David's Bridal where, despite how extremely busy it was and that I didn't have an appointment, I got to try on a dress in the same style of the one I was planning to purchase. We bought a sash there.

Then we went to the Men's Wearhouse. The experience was opposite. There were four people there, one of whom was helping a customer (the only other customer in the store, I might add). The other three didn't acknowledge us the whole time we were there and, in fact, appeared to be chatting as we left, frustrated by the confusing set up and lack of interest in potential customers.

This morning I wrote to each of the establishments - to commend the woman who helped me at David's Bridal and to complain about the lack of help at Men's Wearhouse. We went to MW right after DB, so the difference was stark.

But I got a ribbon for my dress (cornflower blue!). And that's all I have right now. A ribbon sash. :P Shopping must be done. Maybe next weekend we can actually get to Seattle.
